Anniversary concert – celebrating 70 years of VUS UK

11. 5. 2018 - 7:30 PM

Dvořák’s Hall Rudolfinum, Alšovo nábřeží, Prague 1

The absolute highlight of our spring part of the jubilee season is the celebratory concert in Rudolfinum to commemorate 70 years of existence of the Charles University Choir. We will also present our new CD there – sacral choir compositions by Zdeněk Lukáš and Petr Eben – and the first half of the concert will be filled with their music. The second half of the concert will be dedicated to one of the best pieces composed by Antonín Tučapský – a Czech composer who would have been 90 this September. His cantata Stabat Mater will be performed together with the Stephanschor Karlsruhe (Germany).

Programme:

Petr Eben: Prague Te Deum 1989
